Students do not require any previous experience in Singing, Acting or Dance, but should have a passion for performing and be willing to throw themselves into daily activities. Masterclasses will be run everyday from 9am-5pm by a variety of teachers from West End/International Musicals, Tv & Film and resident Sharpe Academy teachers.


  • Summer Intensive Timetable

    The full daily and weekly timetable will be available to download from Monday 10th August. Timetables are subject to change. We will also announce guest teachers from the world of Stage and Screen throughout July.

  • When should students arrive?

    Students can arrive from 8.30am
    Classes will begin at 9.00am

  • When should students be collected?

    Classes will finish at 5.00pm
    Students must be collected by 5.30pm (Monday - Thursday)

    On Friday Students will remain with us for a Dinner break and can be collected after the Showcase around 8.30pm

    IMPORTANT NOTICE
    Students will not be signed out unless their Parent/Guardian is present to collect them. If your child is aged 11 or over and you are happy for them to leave the premises unattended at the end of the day, we must have received written parental permission either by email, by ticking the appropriate box on your registration form, or by letter at the registration desk.
    If your child is to be collected by anyone other than the Parent/Guardian(s) named on their Summer registration form, we must be notified in advance and in writing of who that person will be.

  • What do students need to wear?

    For the daily rehearsals and workshops: 

    • Comfortable clothing that allows full movement when dancing (no jeans/skirts)
    • Jazz Shoes or Trainers/Sneakers (no boots/Uggs/Crocs/etc)
    • Water bottle (named and refillable)
    • Packed lunch in a named, zipped bag
    • Dancewear for Ballet is required for Vocational students aged 15+

     

    For the end-of-week performance on Friday 28th August:

    • Students should arrive wearing their show clothing:
    • PLAIN coloured t-shirt (any colour) — NO logos please
    • Black leggings or dance tights (girls) or jazz pants / black shorts (boys)
    • Black socks
    • Black jazz/ballet shoes or Black trainers/sneakers/plimsoles
    • Water bottle (named and refillable)
    • Packed lunch in a named, zipped bag
    • We usually order Pizza for the Students for Dinner (£6.00 each)

  • End-of-week Performances and Tickets

    All students will perform in an end-of-week Showcase on Friday 28th August at 7pm. This will be over by 8.30pm at the latest.

    SHOWCASE TICKETS

    Tickets to the end-of-week Showcase Presentations will be available during the week from our registration desk.

    Tickets will be £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children under 16.
