Kathryn grew up in Manchester and attended dance classes from an early age, completing both graded and vocational exams. After gaining her degree at Royal Holloway, University of London and realising her love of teaching, she then went on to train at the Royal Academy of Dance, completing the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies course and gaining RAD Registered Teaching Status. She has gone on to freelance across London, preparing students for examinations, auditions and performances with wide success, many students now training at prestigious ballet schools or professionally performing arts colleges. Kathryn is also qualified as a ‘Progressing Ballet Technique’ Teacher, a revolutionary training programme for ballet dancers, which she implements within her training. She inspires, challenges and strengthens dancers so that they are prepared for the professional sector, in whichever path their career takes them.
