Min Age: 11 - School Year 7
Max Age: 18 - School Year 13
Entry Requirements
YEARS 7-8: Advanced standard in ONE Theatre Discipline (Singing, Acting, Dance, Acrobatics). Advanced for this age group would usually be Grade 4 and above.
YEARS 9-10: Advanced standard in TWO Theatre Disciplines (Singing, Acting, Dance, Acrobatics). Advanced for this age group would usually be Grade 5 and above.
YEARS 11-13: Advanced standard in TWO Theatre Disciplines (Singing, Acting, Dance, Acrobatics). Advanced for this age group would usually be Grade 6 and above.
PRE-VOCATIONAL (Aged 16+): If you are interested in attending our Full-Time Diploma, but feel you need a year to improve your skills or to allow you time to finish off other qualifications you are currently working on, you can ask us about our Pre-Vocational Part-Time Options. This involves classes during evenings and weekends. Classes can include Musical Theatre, Performance, Singing, Acting, Acrobatics, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial Jazz & Jazz Technique.

WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY AUDITION?
Please prepare TWO out of the Three audition options below:

SINGING
Please prepare a 2-3 minute Musical Theatre song with a Backing Track. This song should show your range and be performed from memory. Music Tracks should be on a phone, mp3 player or tablet with either bluetooth or a jack lead. We will have a speaker for you to connect to in your audition. -
ACTING
Please prepare a 2-3 minute Dramatic Monologue. This should be taken from a published play or monologue book. The piece should be performed from memory. Please bring a neatly typed out copy of your piece for the audition panel. You can find a monologue section in most book stores or from the online shop at www.LAMDA.ac.uk -
DANCING
Please prepare a 1-2 minute Dance Routine to a song of your choice. When choreographing your routine consider the best way to show technique, posture, flexibility, balance and performance. Tracks should be on a phone, mp3 player or tablet with either bluetooth or a jack lead. We will have a speaker for you to connect to in your audition.
