The Relationship Between Sharpe Academy and Agent Sharpe
Sharpe Academy and Agent Sharpe are operated by Sharpe Academy of Theatre Arts Limited but provide separate services. Sharpe Academy provides education and vocational performing arts training. Agent Sharpe provides professional talent representation and work-finding services. Course fees are paid for training and do not guarantee agency representation, auditions or professional employment. Where a student is offered or provided with representation, this is governed by a separate written agency agreement setting out the services provided, commission arrangements, duration, termination rights and the responsibilities of both parties. Agent Sharpe represents performers from a range of training backgrounds. A performer does not need to enrol at Sharpe Academy in order to apply for representation. Professional opportunities are dependent on casting requirements, suitability, readiness, availability and the decisions of casting directors and employers. Neither Sharpe Academy nor Agent Sharpe can guarantee that any student or client will obtain an audition or paid engagement. Students and prospective clients are encouraged to read all training and agency agreements carefully and to ask questions before signing.
