Join us for a one-day Continuing Professional Development course exploring how the performance industry works.

Many educators and performers only understand the industry through their own personal experience. Because every performer’s journey is different, students and early-career performers can sometimes miss the wider knowledge that helps careers succeed.

Understanding the full cycle of a performer’s career, from training, to first jobs, to long-term sustainability, allows educators to guide their students more effectively from the very beginning, while also helping performers make informed decisions about their own path. When the industry is understood in its wider context, performers are better equipped to build careers that are both strategic and sustainable.

Led by Daniel Sharpe, who has over 20 years’ experience as an industry professional and now runs both a full-time Musical Theatre college in London and a performance agency, this course shares practical insight from both the training and professional sides of the industry.

Success should never be about luck.
It should come from understanding how the industry works.
